Definitions 

Synergy-  
Synergy is when two forces join together within something in order to create s better effect compared to if the forces were working on their own. An big example is in music videos when singers join with TV and film to publicise each other. 

Promotional tool-  
Promotion is the aspect of marketing that involves delivery of company brand or product messages to target customers. several tools are used by companies to aid the delivery of both paid and unpaid promotional methods.

Extension of outlets-
Extension of outlets is the distribution of the music video through music channels. People who buy a music video may not necessary listen the song but however buy it for just the video itself. 

Producers strategies-
There are three types of producers in the music industry (major label), (independent label), and the (self producer). different producers have different strategies which work well for the type of artist they are promoting.

Visual effects  
Visual effects are the processes by which imagery is created and/or manipulated outside the context of a live action shot. 

Found footage 
Found footage is a sub-genre in films in which all or substantial part of a fictional film is presented as if it were discovered film or video recording. 

Copyright-
Copyright is the exclusive and assignable legal right given to the originator for a fixed number of years, to print , publish, perform, film or musical materials.

Product placement- 
An advertising technique used by companies to subtly promote their products through a non-traditional advertising technique usually through appearances in film, television, or other media.

Artist-
A person who composes records and releases music, often professionally through a record label.

Write a summary explaining the frequently used camera shots in the music video and the possible reasons for this. 

At the start of the music video a variety of locations are shown. When the artist starts to sing the background was white with no special animations or effect to the video however that completely changed throughout the song as the background started changing colours and there where a variety of different camera angles, However the main camera angle that was used in the music video was the close up on the artist. There also is a variety of zooming in on the artist to make the song more intriguing and interesting.

The video includes green screening to make the video more interesting and to draw the viewer into watching or listening to the artists song. in the music video there are a variety of lights to set the mood of the song and to make the video better. a variety of lighting is mostly shown when the song and the beat gets faster. the main colour that is use in the video is green.

In some occasions the camera stands still and the artist (Rihanna) moves while singing the song. this occurs so viewers can see the background of the video. however there is a part in the video where the camera moves in circles to show different angles of the artist singing

The Conjuring Analysis
The genre of the conjuring is horror, i know this through the conventions used in the film. specific horror conventions that are present in the the conjuring are isolated places, such as the house.Also dark settings with history, such as the house used in The Conjuring, the house is located in the Woodlands, which is a popular place for the house to be located in. furthermore, POV shots and handheld shots are used in The Conjuring trailer, these are used to make it difficult for the audience to see whats happening and they are able to put themselves in the characters shoes.
